      Celebrate Israels Independence Day

      On April 29th at 7pm Temple Beth Hillel will celebrate Israel Independence Day with Dar Nadler from Jewish National Fund to talk to us about what is going on in Israel today. Cantor will lead us in the singing of Hatikvah. Israeli appetizers will be served.

      Dar Nadler, Jewish National Fund Emissary to New England and the Capital District, has dedicated her career to the state of Israel. She was CEO of Blue White Future (BWF), a prominent Israeli NGO, established by former head of the Israeli Shin Bet, Admiral (ret.) Ami Ayalon. Prior to that she served as senior advisor to Deputy Minister of Defense, General (ret.) Matan Vilnai during PM Ehud Barak's tenure as Minister of Defense. Dar was born and raised in an HaShomer-HaTzair's Kibbutz, Barkai, served in the IDF and graduated from Tel-Aviv University with a BA in Political Science and Education and an MA in Public Administration.
